All previous owners preserved a variety of reports, receipts, and printed materials detailing its history. Adding to its distinction, this 1969 Shelby GT-500 is fully-documented as one of the first 100 built. Under the hood is the original Cobra Jet V8 with the VIN to match. Built at the GM plant in Flint, Michigan, it is thought to be 1 out of 108 GS 455 Stage 1 Buick cars that were painted Burgundy Mist with a white roof. That number includes automatics. It’s also 1 out of only 193 Stage 1 models with a 4-speed that sported the optional air conditioner.
