The biggest change was the cutting back of performance options due to the Clean Air Act of 1970 which slowed down the muscle car craze, but it didn’t stop there. From the 1972 Plymouth B-body lineup, a Road Runner with a 440 was considered top-of-the-line. In the U.S. and Canada, a total of 672 Plymouth Road Runner GTXs were produced in 1972. From that, 453 were automatics and 219 were four-speeds. For the first time ever, Auto World is proud to bring you this 1972 Plymouth Road Runner in FE5 Rallye Red with tank track stripes. 1968 Oldsmobile Hurst Olds 2-Door Post in Peruvian SilverFeatures Include:• Opening doors and hood• Accurate interior and chassis• Steerable front wheels• Detailed engine As a result of a remarkable joint venture between Hurst and Oldsmobile the 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst/Olds, was fabricated as a limited production car. Only 64 out of the 515 that were built, were sport coupes. This 1-of-64 sports coupe is Demmer Engineered number 463. Optional for this model was the Peruvian Silver body, black stripe details, 455 Engine, and W30 equipment. The interior is upholstered in black with the exception of a walnut wood accent panel installed across the bottom of the dash and around the Hurst dual gate shifter. It was built and then shipped from Demmer Engineering on July 3, 1968 to the Paul Clark Oldsmobile dealership in North Carolina. When Tim and Leia Wong purchased this car in May 2000, they learned it still had the numbers-matching engine and matching OW-code transmission with the Hurst dual-gate shifter.

Most interestingly, this exceptional muscle machine is the only one known to still exist. It rolls on four Rally wheels with redline polyglass tires. Under the hood is the meticulously-detailed 302 Turbo Fire engine throwing power to the 4-speed Muncie transmission. It features power disc brakes with rare four piston design calipers and heavy duty suspension. This beauty also sports the hideaway headlights available on the RS package. The D series was a line of pickup trucks that was sold by Dodge from 1961 to 1980, over three distinct generations. The list of changes Dodge made to the D Series was extensive, and included both substantial mechanical upgrades as well as smaller features that could be added together to create overall pleasant experience.The custom-truck scene blossomed into a lifestyle on the West Coast, with trucks of all types used to haul cool toys. Dodge capitalized on this trend by creating adult toys with special graphics packages across many of their vehicle lines. This particular black exterior body includes the traditional Utiline bed and custom trim referred to as Gradated Sport Stripes. The multi-colored stripes consists of large DODGE lettering at the bottom of the doors that go from the rockers up and run to the back of the truck. The tailgate has huge PICK-M-UP lettering as well as matching stripes which wrap around the top of the hood.
