DB - Mercedes-Benz L 3500 Culemeyer Wagon-Carrying Road TrainA team can hardly look more contemporary. Thanks to the new heavy-duty platform , the Langhauber from Mercedes-Benz demonstrates its 1:87 scale traction. WIKING freshened up the typical team, which found favor with model railroaders early on, with the L 3500 tractor. It's hard to believe that the attached road scooters have been rolling into the WIKING range since the 1950s. Road scooters were used for rail-road traffic, in which the Deutsche Bundesbahn transported wagons complete with cargo to those customers who did not have a train track at the company's location. In the 1970s, this combined transport solution found less and less demand, so that the road scooters largely disappeared from service.High Quality Plastic

Agricultural 3-Axle Trailer in Red Brantner-Fahrzeugbau, which is today the largest agricultural tipper manufacturer in Europe, provides the model for this. With a gross vehicle weight of 24 tons, the original is one of the large trailers in agriculture. In the past, Brantner was able to profile itself as a specialist for agricultural tippers with a total weight of between 1.5 and 36 tons. International (IHC) 1455 XL Tractor Another legendary classic that has earned the 1:87 WIKING monument. The IHC 1455 XL is something special, because as a tractor that is still in use, farmers appreciate it. Numerous farms still use the 145-hp and 6.5-ton tractor today in their daily farm chores. The 1455 XL is one of the few tugs of the generation of youngtimers to which one is happy to be loyal. This is reason enough for WIKING to miniaturize the tractor of the 1980s now 87 times and thus cement the good reputation of their agricultural themed bastion again. The IHC 1455 XL miniaturizes the standard tractor with all-wheel drive that was once built in Neuss. This type is the largest tractor built by International Harvester at the time.
