Called the Preston and Lawrence race car, this car was purchased by on April 4, 1969, by Lester Lawrence of Montclair, NJ. Don Yenko personally signed off on the sale's contract. The name Yenko was very popular during those times, thanks to Don Yenko's racing career. Much like Shelby, people saw him in almost every car-related thing, from race tracks to car shows. So, seeing a car with the name "Yenko" automatically made it unique and precious.

After making its way to Australia with an original chassis, the car had passed hands as a project a number of times resulting in some crude workmanship and signs of the body being stored and transported had taken its toll. Fortunately, the car ended up in the hands of Shaun Pask who has resurrected many hot rods, drag cars, and street machines. After many exhausting hours of hard work, the Nitro Methane Gasser was turned into an awesome showpiece of Gasser history.

But Olds did not stop there as they rolled out an even more exciting performance packaged called the W30. Thanks to a special-order color that many muscle car enthusiasts would describe as sacrilegious, a 1970 442 was finished in Plum Crazy! Olds allowed dealers to commission special-order paint for $50 (about $400 as of 2023). A dealer in Virginia Beach took advantage of this option as he wished to have a custom piece in his showroom and placed the order for the Plum Crazy color scheme. This extremely rare Oldsmobile packs all the factory W30 goodies with white stripes and a white convertible top.

When it's a Mercury. That's right, a Mercury! In the midst of Ford's "Total Performance" racing dominance in the 1960s-highlighted by the legendary GT40's 1-2-3 finish at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966-Ford Motor Company's Lincoln-Mercury Division wanted a share of the spotlight to help promote its new Mercury Cougar. Mercury GT40 race cars-P/1016 and P/1047-were more than just showpieces. Given Mk IIB upgrades that included roll cage, aluminum instrument panel, lighter body sections, and fire suppression, they competed in the 24 Hours of Daytona in May 1967, with some big-name drivers at the wheel.

The Monkeemobile was one of the most desired custom cars of Sixties television.Created by car customizer Dean Jeffries, the Monkeemobile began life as a 1966 Pontiac GTO before it was chopped, tweaked, and twisted! Its original design featured a huge 6-71 supercharger fitted to the exposed engine giving the car so much horsepower that the TV cast found it hard to control! Later, this setup was reduced to a mock supercharger mounted over the stock Pontiac engine.Two Monkeemobiles were constructed — #1 was used on the TV show. #2 was built as a back-up car and stunt car if needed. Its main job would be the show car circuit of the 60s.
