James Bond 007 - Q Glider - No Time to Die Designed for air-launched infiltration missions, the distinctive two-seat folding wing glider developed by Q-Branch was used by Agent Nomi and James Bond to storm The Poisoned Garden, the island base of the villainous Safin. Located in the Sea of Japan, the island required a rapid yet stealthy approach which only the glider was capable of achieving. Dropped from a Royal Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster in a compact form, the glider immediately springs open into a deployed flight configuration that, upon reaching surface level, transforms again into a submersible for the final arrival at Safin’s base. While not a real aircraft, the Q Glider was created as a full-size physical prop with an opening canopy by the No Time To Die production team for use on set. The glider prop was used onboard a real Royal Air Force C-17A Globemaster at RAF Brize Norton and in a water tank set built at Pinewood Studios to create the interior submarine pen at The Poisoned Garden. Visuals of the glider deploying from the Globemaster were created using Computer Generated Imagery (CGI). Features included retractable wings when extended they are 16.5"

McDonnell Douglas Phantom FGR2 XV466 D, No.1435Flight RAF - Falkland Islands, 1991 Features Include:• Detailed crew figures• Drop Tank• Opening Canopy • Optional Armaments • Flight stand• Optional landing gear In the years following the end of the Falklands War, Britain attempted to calm ongoing tensions by reducing the number of Phantom interceptors based on the Islands to just four aircraft. This development reduced the squadron to ‘Flight’ status and would herald its adoption of the famous ‘1435 Flight’ name and its heritage from the Second World War. Now having just four Phantoms to defend the Islands against the potential might of a combined Argentinean air threat, pilots and crew of No.1435 Flight called upon the glorious WWII heritage of this famous unit and established a South Atlantic aviation story which continues to this day. The long association between the Falkland Islands and RAF No.1435 Flight began on 1st November 1988, when No.23(F) Squadron back in the UK started to re-equip with the new Tornado F.3 interceptor. With their Falklands based detachment now reduced to just four Phantoms, the flight drew on its association with the siege of Malta during the Second World War and the defiant defence mounted by a small number of obsolete Gloster Sea Gladiator fighters of the Hal Far Fighter Flight. During her time with No.1435 Flight on the Falkland Islands, Phantom FGR.2 XV466 earned a reputation as one of the most attractively presented RAF jets of the post war era, with her white tail and large Maltese Cross cutting quite the figure as she helped to deter further conflict in this volatile region.

Panavia Tornado GR1 ZD748 AK - Johnnie Walker 'Still Going Strong' - RAF No.9 Squadron As the oldest dedicated bomber squadron in the Royal Air Force, it was somehow fitting that No.IX Squadron took the honour of becoming the world's first operational Panavia Tornado unit in front-line service when it was equipped with the GR.1 variant in June 1982. The Tornado was a highly advanced, nuclear-capable strike attack and reconnaissance aircraft of the late Cold War era, with its potentially devastating capabilities meaning that at least four squadrons were usually based in Germany for much of its early service. Tornado ZD748 was produced as a GR.1 variant in 1984 and delivered to No.IX Squadron at RAF Brüggen on 8th October that same year, where she wore the code AK and was referred to colloquially as 'Anola Kay'. Proud of their celebrated squadron history, ZD748 later benefitted from some special artwork in commemoration of wartime Avro Lancaster B.I W4964, one of only 35 Lancasters which completed at least 100 operational missions: the celebrated 'Centurions'. This famous aircraft was 'J for Johnnie' and carried the Johnny Walker whiskey brand artwork on its nose, along with the firm's equally famous motto, ‘Still Going Strong' and its impressive mission tally scoreboard. This aircraft dropped a 12,000Ib Tallboy bomb on the German Battleship Tirpitz on 15th September 1944. Tornado ZD748 was still carrying her 'Johnnie Walker' artwork when she was pictured in the static aircraft display at the RAF Waddington Airshow in the summer of 1993. Republic P-47 Thunderbolt "Snafu"Postage Stamp CollectionThis Die-cast metal airplane model comes in 1:100 scale with plastic stand and is approximately 4 1/4 inches long with 4 3/4 inch wingspan. The P-47 Thunderbolt was a fighter-bomber used by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. Over 15,000 planes were built during its operational lifetime. With the aid of drop tanks (auxiliary fuel tanks), the P-47 could cover long distances and was feared because of its eight .50 caliber guns. The P-47 was the heaviest single engine WWII fighter and the first piston powered fighter to exceed 500 mph.This P-47 has been painted to represent "Snafu" as flown by the 78th Fighter Group stationed in England in late 1944 to battle enemy Luftwaffe fighters and provide escort to Allied heavy bombers. It has been restored to its wartime condition by The Fighter Collection, a private operator of airworthy vintage military aircraft based at historic Duxford Airfield in Cambridgeshire, UK.
