Grumpy's Toy - 1967 Chevrolet C-30 Ramp Truck in White Limited Edition - Estimated Production 500 pcs Features Include:• Sealed Diecast Body • Poseable Steering • Fully Detailed Interior • Adjustable Wheel Chocks • Slide Out Ramps • Detailed Chassis • Rubber Tires Grumpy Jenkins is widely known for his superior engine building skills, being a top-notch drag racer and a multi-motorsports hall of fame inductee. In 1966, Jenkins' decided to independently run a Chevrolet of his own, and developed an engine package that made him a stand out in racing circles. Without the help of factory support, Jenkins developed his first Grumpy's Toy: a Chevy II with a 327 cubic-inch engine. His efforts caught the eye of Chevrolet corporate, and this led to him being added to Chevrolet's "sponsored" team in 1967. Jenkins won only 13 NHRA national events as a driver, but was still voted the eighth best of all-time when the NHRA held its 50th anniversary in 2001, such is his importance as an engine and car builder. Inducted into every hall of fame and bestowed with every honor possible for a drag racer, Grumpy continues to see his influence on the stock classes today and his Jenkins Competition, the tuning shop he opened in the 1950s, remains in business.

1971 Pontiac GTO Judge Convertible in Orbit Orange - The Last Ram Air Judge Made! Limited Edition - Estimated Production 600 Pieces Features Include: • Opening doors • Poseable steering • Highly detailed 455 engine • Detailed interior with folding seats • Individually serialized In the winter of 1970, a Mr. Wayne Hagen caught wind of some rattling news: the Judge was retiring. In this case, no political figure was stepping down but rather Pontiac's sportster of the same name. "He wanted one his whole life but couldn't swing it financially,' recalls his wife, Mary. "Realizing this would be his last chance to get one, he figured he should get moving." In April of 1971, the lovebirds swung by Hansord Pontiac, in Minneapolis, only to be greeted with a terrible announcement: they were too late. "The sales staff said sadly we had missed the boat in getting in an order,' recalls Mary. Officially, the Judge was discontinued in February and here it was nearly a month later. "We told them we weren't interested anymore and started to leave,' said Mary. "Before we could get to the door, they said they would call up Pontiac and ask if they'll make one more." Further pressing their luck, the Hagens had a special request: the car needed to be painted in their favorite color, Orbit Orange. "We had to have one in that color, we just loved it,' gushed Mary. Easier said than done, that vibrant hue was no longer available for the 1971 model year. Still, eager for a sale, the dealership put in a special paint

Built at the GM plant in Flint, Michigan, it is thought to be 1 out of 108 GS 455 Stage 1 Buick cars that were painted Burgundy Mist with a white roof. That number includes automatics. It’s also 1 out of only 193 Stage 1 models with a 4-speed that sported the optional air conditioner. Peek at the interior, and you’ll find all-white seats, matching door panels, black carpeting, and a detailed dash.Although in pristine condition, this wasn’t always the case as this gem was hidden away in a shop for a 5-year restoration project. Not for nothing, that long journey paid off. Still with all its original metal, and even better than before, it was entered into the 2021 MCACN show where it scored the emerald-level award with the highest points for a stock Buick. It’s a true combination of beauty and power all wrapped into one. Auto World is excited to replicate and offer this pristine muscle machine for you to enjoy and add to your collection.
