By 1978, Dodge was adding models with special graphics and trim that were considered “lifestyle” pickups marketed as specialty, personal-use trucks. The 1980 D150 Dodge Adventurer Sport model was a continuation of these trends. It had plenty of power with its 2.6 liter engine carbureted with the MCA-JET system. Weighing in at 2,563 lb. it is a hefty truck with a max payload of just over 1,500 lb.Auto World presents this Adventurer with wide slotted rims, bucket seats and a Utiline bed, all wrapped in the Stars and Stripes of the American flag. During this time, Cadillac began trimming its vehicle lineup, slowly phasing out the lower-end models and the super-luxurious V16 monsters. The consolidation of brands and models was a wise move to survive WWII. The war took its toll on the entire car industry, and Cadillac was no exception. By 1947, Cadillac was only producing 12 models under 4 different series—nearly a quarter of their output from just 6 years earlier. As WWII ended and Americans returned to work, people ordered new cars by the thousands. From 1946 into 1947, there were over 100,000 unfulfilled orders. Weathering the storm of demand, 84% of cars produced by Cadillac in 1947 were the Series 62.Auto World is proud to bring you this 1947 Cadillac Series 62 soft top in a custom metallic green exterior, dark green and cream interior, and tan soft top. Under the hood is a highly-detailed “Monobloc” flathead V8 that produced 150 hp.

Their quality and detail garnered the attention of the rich and famous across the United States in the early 20th century. One such vehicle stood above the rest—the 1935 Duesenberg SSJ Speedster. With a shorter wheelbase than the J and SJ models, plus a supercharged straight-8 with double overhead cams, it produced more than 400hp, launching the car to 140mph!Only two SSJ Speedsters were ever actually built. The first was painted gray-on-gray and owned by actor Gary Cooper. The second was a red and metallic green Speedster lent to Clark Gable, an established Duesenberg customer in 1936. Both of these Duesenbergs were identical, except for their colors. As expensive and rare as these cars were, Cooper and Gable were actually known to race their cars in the Hollywood hills! Auto World has replicated this SSJ Speedster in authentic Duesenberg colors, just as if production never ceased, allowing more colors to be produced! This paint combination is truly a dream come true!
