Today, the Super Car legacy continues with Nickey Performance based in Loves Park, IL. They’re bringing a whole new generation of Super Cars to the streets using the formula, which Nickey pioneered decades ago. When it comes to the 2017 Chevy Camaro, the 1LE is a powerful upgrade with extreme performance on or off the track. 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix Hardtop in Matador RedFeatures Include:• Opening doors, hood and trunk• Accurate interior and chassis• Steerable front wheels• Detailed engine The Pontiac Grand Prix entered its second generation with an all-new redesign for 1969. It wasn’t just a refresh of the 1968s, it was a complete ground-up rework of the giant muscle-yacht. It was a purpose-built car as envisioned by John Deloreon, the general manager of GM’s Pontiac Motor Division of the time. Deloreon wanted to capture the entire experience of old luxury marques like Duesenberg, Cadillac, and Packard of the 1930s. Monikers like J and SJ, properly befit the Grand Prix name.Royal Pontiac, of Royal Oak, MI was already well known to enthusiastically dabble in the domain of Pontiac performance. The Grand Prix was no exception, despite its massive size. With a hood-mounded tachometer, Royal optioned these 4000lb cars with the 428 H.O. 4bbl engine rated at 390hp. They spun the same camshaft as the Ram Air III engine in the GTO with compression of 10.75:1. It was a formidable machine on the street, but didn’t look the part. Many “muscle” cars that dared to challenge were only viewed in the Grand Prix’s rear view. Only 12 of these Matador Red Royal Bobcat Grand Prix models were ever built in 1969.

Specific to the Shelby is the fiberglass body panels, front bumper, grille, headlights, and 5-scoop NACA duct hood. The early 1970s began the drawdown of the big-dogs in the muscle car world. At 385hp, the 1971 GTX 440+6 remained mostly unchanged from a power standpoint from the previous years. It was a beast that competed with the best of the muscle cars of the day running under 14 seconds in the quarter mile, topping off at more than 100mph through the traps. After 1971, the GTX became an optional package on the Road Runner, rather than a stand-alone badge.

Patriotism flew high and proud as these pure white Mustangs advanced down the assembly line in Dearborn, MI for this one-year-only collector-car. With its bold red, white and blue color scheme, bright blue lambeth cloth interior, and two-tone corinthian vinyl bucket seats, there's no mistaking that this Mustang was truly something special built to capture the hearts of any American. Behind the Mach 1-style grill was Cleveland 351 cubic inch Cobra Jet V8, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Producing 266-horsepower, this pony car had plenty of gallop off the line racing towards the gold and a podium finish!
