Called the Preston and Lawrence race car, this car was purchased by on April 4, 1969, by Lester Lawrence of Montclair, NJ. Don Yenko personally signed off on the sale's contract. The name Yenko was very popular during those times, thanks to Don Yenko's racing career. Much like Shelby, people saw him in almost every car-related thing, from race tracks to car shows. So, seeing a car with the name "Yenko" automatically made it unique and precious.

Dockery Ford - Mark Donohue - #11B 1965 Shelby G.T 350R Limited Edition - Estimated Production 500 Pieces This is one of the few original 1965 GT 350 "R" models ever produced by Shelby American. The GT350R was the first time an American manufacturer offered a strictly-for-racing competition model which could be purchased from a dealer and which would require nothing after delivery. These cars could literally be delivered directly to the track and raced the way they came off the transport. This particular "R" model was 1 of 2 sponsored by Dockery Ford of Morristown, N.J. for the 1966 season. The Dockery dealership was very involved in racing and wanted a big name driver for their car. So why not go for gold and hire Mark Donahue? Mark entered Dockery's GT350R in nine races during the 1966 season and notched four victories!*Minor changes may occur in final production

He wanted to turn Ford's secretary sports car into a track champion. So, Ford sent him three white K-code 1965 Mustangs. Serial number 5R002 would become the very first GT350R prototype and is arguably the most important Mustang in history! 5R002 would have multiple parts tested on it with drivers such as Ken Miles and Bob Bondurant behind the wheel, fenders widened by hand, the famous rear window designed by Peter Brock that let air escape, reverse hood scoop, and so much more! 5R002, aka the "Flying Mustang", would win its first race it ever entered on February 14,1965 with Ken Miles piloting the car to victory. Miles and others would compile 10 wins with 5R002 throughout the season with Jerry Titus capturing the SCCA B Production Championship for 1965!

At the time, Howell was working at the famed Logge Stamping Company overseeing their shop. Logge was a very large volume producer of drag racing chassis at that time and along with all of their other projects, a guy named Tom Prock had a 1933 Willys that he wanted updated. Instead of going the standard direction, the guys put a Logge funny car chassis under it and were quickly informed by NHRA officials at their first event that the car was not legal to run there or anywhere in the gas classes due to said chassis. They raced the car here and there in 1968 on the match race circuit and then figured it was all done. Then the phone rang in early 1969 and the boys decided to hitch up with a couple of other gassers, load a nitro burning 426 hemi into the front of their car and travel the country as "outlaw gassers". The F-Troop '33 Willys is legend for wild runs with Howell at the wheel. The car went into the 180s and in various interviews, Howell said that the thing was a complete handful to get down the track at those speeds. We can only imagine.

He was highly successful in the 80s, winning numerous races on the All-Star Circuit of Champions (ASCoC) and World of Outlaws (WoO) schedules respectively. In 1986, Brad Doty teamed with noted mechanic-turned-owner Kenny Woodruff and his Coors Light sponsored Gambler #18 "house car". 1968 Plymouth Cuda Super Stock - Arlen Venke - East Town Limited Edition - Estimated Production 500 Pieces Features Include: • Opening doors, hood, and trunk• Poseable steering• Injected HEMI engine• Detailed interior • Diecast metal body• Serialized plate "Akron" Arlen Vanke was a working-man's drag racer. Competing, and winning, in the Stock, Super Stock and Pro Stock classes, he set records with Pontiacs and, later, Plymouths, earning multiple Stock Eliminator titles with both marques. Through it all, he built the cars in a backyard garage and often drove his open ramp truck to the track and back. In fact, Chrysler hired Vanke to test their performance technology. In 1967, Arlen modified the RO23 Hemi intake manifold for racing. "NHRA rules allowed racers to modify the intake manifold, so I made the stock manifold into a plenum chamber manifold, " he said. Vanke's Hemi, along with the Sox & Martin team, gave Mopars so many victories in the late '60s that they dominated the scene in Super Stocks. In 1968, he built this incredible HEMI Cuda that we are so proud to offer. He won the Nationals in August at Indy running SS/B with his 1968 Plymouth Hemi Cuda. He then reset the record again with a 10.61 at 140 miles per hour in the Cuda in SS/A at the Winternationals in Pomona, California.
