1950 Oldsmobile 88 Holiday Coupe in Chariot RedFeatures Include:• Opening doors, and hood• Accurate interior and chassis• Steerable front wheels• Detailed engineThe year was 1962. Cheering on NASCAR had become an American pastime. However, the rock stars behind the wheel were essentially piloting the very same cars that enthusiasts could buy at their local dealership. Edward Glenn “Fireball” Roberts Jr. was one such driver. His 1962 season was one for the record books. Of his 206 career races, he finished in the top-5 just shy of half the time, and in the top-10 nearly 60% of the time! In 1962, he won both the Daytona 500 and the Firecracker 250 driving a black and gold Pontiac built by the award-winning Smokey Yunick, and sponsored by Jim Stephens Pontiac of Daytona Beach. To commemorate his astounding season, Stephens Pontiac developed the 1962 Pontiac Grand Prix “Fireball” Roberts Edition. It was painted rich Starlight Black with the same gold accents as Roberts’ winning racer. Under the hood was the dealer-installed 421ci powerplant. Only about 30 of these historic and rare cars were ever produced by the dealership!

1969 Pontiac Grand Prix Hardtop in Matador RedFeatures Include:• Opening doors, hood and trunk• Accurate interior and chassis• Steerable front wheels• Detailed engine The Pontiac Grand Prix entered its second generation with an all-new redesign for 1969. It wasn’t just a refresh of the 1968s, it was a complete ground-up rework of the giant muscle-yacht. It was a purpose-built car as envisioned by John Deloreon, the general manager of GM’s Pontiac Motor Division of the time. Deloreon wanted to capture the entire experience of old luxury marques like Duesenberg, Cadillac, and Packard of the 1930s. Monikers like J and SJ, properly befit the Grand Prix name.Royal Pontiac, of Royal Oak, MI was already well known to enthusiastically dabble in the domain of Pontiac performance. The Grand Prix was no exception, despite its massive size. With a hood-mounded tachometer, Royal optioned these 4000lb cars with the 428 H.O. 4bbl engine rated at 390hp. They spun the same camshaft as the Ram Air III engine in the GTO with compression of 10.75:1. It was a formidable machine on the street, but didn’t look the part. Many “muscle” cars that dared to challenge were only viewed in the Grand Prix’s rear view. Only 12 of these Matador Red Royal Bobcat Grand Prix models were ever built in 1969.

1970 Buick GS Stage 1 Hardtop in Burgundy Mist - MCACN (Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals) Features Include:• Opening doors, and hood• Accurate interior and chassis• Steerable front wheels• Detailed engine Ignacio “Iggy” Alonso is the proud owner of this, far and between, 1970 Buick GS Stage 1. Built at the GM plant in Flint, Michigan, it is thought to be 1 out of 108 GS 455 Stage 1 Buick cars that were painted Burgundy Mist with a white roof. That number includes automatics. It’s also 1 out of only 193 Stage 1 models with a 4-speed that sported the optional air conditioner. Peek at the interior, and you’ll find all-white seats, matching door panels, black carpeting, and a detailed dash.Although in pristine condition, this wasn’t always the case as this gem was hidden away in a shop for a 5-year restoration project. Not for nothing, that long journey paid off. Still with all its original metal, and even better than before, it was entered into the 2021 MCACN show where it scored the emerald-level award with the highest points for a stock Buick. It’s a true combination of beauty and power all wrapped into one. Auto World is excited to replicate and offer this pristine muscle machine for you to enjoy and add to your collection.
